Based in the city of Berlin, this studio is creating a AAA F2P title for PC and Console platforms. To do this they seek the talent of a seasoned and passionate Engine Programmer. You will work with an international team of highly experienced and talented developers that are passionate about their work.

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new engine solutions
  • Improve existing engine functionality
  • Write clear, maintainable and fast code in adherence to internal standards
  • Write and maintain technical design and software system documentation
  • Research and develop innovative engine technologies

 

Required:

  • Professional Games programming experience with 3d games
  • Experience with any game engines, preferably Unreal Engine 4
  • Willing to learn and acquire new skills
  • Team player, motivated, and self-driven
  • Excellent C/C++ programming skills
  • Experience with graphics programming
  • Experience with multi-threading
  • Experience with multiplatform development
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Passionate about videogames

 

Desirable skills:

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 3 or Unreal Engine 4
  • Experience with C# and higher level languages (Lua, Python, Ruby…)
  • Experience with physics programming
  • Experience with current gen console development
  • Experience with multiplayer development
  • Experience with free-to-play game development
