Our client is in search of an enthusiastic, organized, and self-motivated person to manage PR in the EMEA region. As an experienced PR Manager, you will work within the marketing team and deliver EMEA PR strategy. Passionate and knowledgeable about Video games and incredibly well connected, you understand how the press works and what is important for esports fans. You know how to shape and deliver PR campaigns, events and run a press office function in a way that resonates with different segments of the media, tells the story and drives coverage, awareness and retention. You will be reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager EMEA.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Marketing Managers regarding upcoming PR activities, corporate/product communication, in-game events etc.
• Create and execute PR plans under supervision of the Senior Marketing Manager
• Serve as primary point of contact on all PR issues/opportunities for all media
• Research alternative media outlets, tradeshows and events.
• Monitor key trends in the industry space and provide analysis as needed
• Manage and execute in-house PR communications
• Develop and distribute written materials like press releases, newsflashs etc.
• Assist and report to HQ on EMEA news and PR coverage for the game
• Keep detailed records and inventory like clipping books, contact lists etc.
• Assist in other Marketing & PR activities as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related fields
• Extensive experience in Public Relations and Marketing
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
• Multilingual(French, German, Spanish or other European language)
• A network in EMEA region
• Excellent communication skills, diplomacy/people skills a must
• Rigorous and detailed- oriented. Self-starter with team orientation
• Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Media experience a plus
• Game industry experience highly desired
• Ability to work and communicate in a multi-national/multi-cultural environment
• Some international travel may be required
