DevOps Engineer – C#/Unity – Mobile Battle Royale Games – Singapore – Remote

OPM’s client are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join development on a new Battle Royale title from their studio based in Singapore

You will join a multi-functional team and work to eliminate roadblocks and focus on improving and streamlining the creation, deployment, updating and continuous operational monitoring of their games.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong experience in Devops and with requirements in relation to mobile games & applications
• Experience with Continuous Integration systems
• Experience working and communicating with development and QA teams
• Have experience working on a successful (>1M MAU) free-to-play game and exposure to engineering needs across the complete lifecycle
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any associated fields

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and maintain the continuous integration and deployment pipelines
• Identify and implement tools that automate manual processes in development and deployment
• Monitoring and creating server analytics reports
• Monitoring server logging and server infrastructure setups
• Improving system stability by following and encouraging best practices like agile development and test-driven development
• Identify issues and opportunities for improved efficiency and create prototype solutions for presentation
• Contributing to the decisions that shape the games and the company by giving as well as receiving feedback

DESIRED SKILLS (GOOD TO HAVE):

• Skilled with Unity3d and C#
• Continuous Integration and Build Automation – Gradle, Ansible, Jenkins, Github Actions
• Microservices – Tracing, Service Discovery, Inter Service Messaging, Monitoring
• Automatic Monitoring and Maintenance – Unix, Bash, Prometheus, Grafana /ELK
• Containers – Docker, Kubernetes
• Using managed services listed above on AWS and/or Google Cloud
