Community Manager – Console Games – West Midlands – Contract

My client, a successful developer of AAA console titles, is currently looking for an experienced Community Manager to manage player experiences, social media and the general community for one of their popular games.

Candidates with a strong background in creating and managing gaming content for YouTube and Twitch will be ideal for this opportunity. The studio is looking for someone with a unique ability to engage and connect with their audiences.


  • Create and manage social media content i.e. videos and streams to engage the target audience
  • Create tutorial videos with content ranging from teaching amateurs how to stream, to showing old hands how to use their latest assets
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest and best community videos, identifying the most creative and entertaining content to engage players
  • Liaise with the studios Community Team to ensure content is featured on the social media channels
  • Moderate and maintain the community, for both social channels and events
  • Use feedback from the community to help prioritise new ideas over time
  • Provide direct support to individuals in the community with questions about the game


  • Strong experience creating gaming content for YouTube and Twitch, including building and maintaining an audience. Experience with Beam is a plus.
  • High proficiency with video capture, editing, and publishing. You should be able to run streams independently and turn around videos in less than a week’s time
  • Intimate knowledge of the game streaming and video creation space, with an understanding of top players and trends on YouTube, Twitch, and Beam
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with CMS publishing tools is a bonus
