Community Manager – Berlin – Cross Platform MMO Games

OPM is working with a well-established and ambitious games development studio located in Berlin. They are seeking an experience Community Manager to join their team to work on their cross platform MMO RPG title, which is the core game of the studio as they continue to expand on build on its success.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Flawless English language skills.
• Proactive and take initiative with a customer and community-oriented outlook.
• Deep understanding of MMORPGs, particularly sandbox ones.
• Keen eye for detail and possess strong organisational skills.
• Adaptable and enjoy working on a variety of tasks.
• Able to keep a work under pressure, and tackle community problems sensibly with empathy and a positive attitude.

DESIRED SKILL:

• Professional Community Management experience is highly advantageous.
• Languages skills in in one or more (DE, FR, PL, RU, PTBR, ES) would be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Premiere and/or comparable software is advantageous.
• Being a people person.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure appropriate and proactive communication with their community through forum posts, twitch streams, and videos for YouTube.
• Collect, curate and aggregate player feedback.
• Organise and manage the moderation of their communication platforms.
• Plan and carry out in-game events.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase growth of, and retention in, their active community.
• Work closely with QA, Support and Content Management teams to ensure proper and timely internal and external communication of issues.
• Manage and expand a team of highly motivated volunteers to help you achieve your goals.
• Boost the visibility of their Twitch and Youtube channels by producing high-quality, community-focused content.
