OPMs client is currently looking to fill their Community Developer position, to play a pivotal role as the key spokesperson for the community for both the United States and Europe studios.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and executing the community strategy to create, grow, and cultivate positive community interactions for all their players on a worldwide scale.

REQUIRMENTS:

  • Strong professional experience as a Community Development/Management in gaming.
  • Deep understanding of player behaviour, and trends within AAA gaming.
  • Analytical mind set to build player understanding with a data driven approach.
  • Professional experience building online communities.
  • Professional experience with social channel.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a pro-active and positive attitude.
  • Keen to work in a rare “AAA start-up" studio environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or comparable experience.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Be the community’s voice at the studio.
  • Stay up to date with the newest developments both in the community and the game itself, to advise and advocate on the community’s behalf.
  • Establish and carry out a global community strategy on the upcoming game.
  • Conceptualise and carry out community events and community content calendars.
  • Build community assets to help support the Player Engagement efforts of acquisition and retention.
  • Offer community insights and understanding with the help of the Data Insights team, to help drive decision making.
  • Support the studio to reach its milestones with community focused initiatives.
  • Regularly report on Community status to Management.

DESIRED SKILLS (good to have):

  • Professional experience working in a cross functional position.
