Cinematic Animator – REMOTE OR Ireland – Story Driven AAA FPS Game

One Player Missions client is looking for a Cinematic Animator to join their growing team on a full-time basis. This is an unprecedented opportunity to join a thriving independent development studio and work on a high-profile title that will be played by millions of gamers worldwide.

The successful candidate will work closely with their Art Director and art, animation and narrative teams to immerse players in their deep storytelling through AAA quality cinematic scenes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in the games industry producing AAA game cinematics
• Excellent understanding of cinematics, narrative and character development
• Experience with early stages of cinematic development from storyboard to animatic, blockout etc
• A portfolio reflecting high-quality game cinematics and a breakdown of each shot detailing your involvement
• Full understanding of contemporary game development workflows, pipelines
• Working knowledge of Maya and Motion Builder
• Experience with facial animation
• Strong hand-key skills and a range of different animation styles
• Experience with motion capture editing and clean-up
• Good understanding of Unreal Engine 5 and the Sequencer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create amazing animations for cinematic sequences
• Blocking out animations and quick iteration on pre-viz
• Convey storytelling and emotion through realistic animation
• Collaborate closely with the Art, Design, Animation, Narrative, and Production teams
• Understand technical restraints while seeking out innovative solutions
