Our award-winning client is looking for an exceptionally skilled Cinematic Animator who possesses a passion for enhancing the cinematic cut scenes and sequences for some of the biggest and most ambitious AAA video game titles.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent demo reel demonstrating professional experience animating for games.
• Positive and solution focused, with a keen interest in films and games.
• Excellent at animating the human figure to produce realistic character animations.
• Solid understanding of development problems with regards to getting animations into a game.
• Brings innovation and resolution to technical challenges throughout production.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with a multi-discipline team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Art and/or Animation, or comparable experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creating cutscenes and cinematic sequences for video games.
• Involvement in the planning and direction of motion capture shoots.
• Enhancing performances, emphasising weight, timing & silhouettes to produce spectacular cinematics.
• Working with the global teams to problem solve and execute cinematic sequences.
• Reviewing animations and implement feedback from lead reviews.
• Generate spectacular animations that are responsive and cinematic.
• Working closely with the design team to create mesmerising cinematic experiences.
• Implementing, troubleshooting, and debugging animation systems.
• Helping enhance animation pipelines.

DESRIED SKILLS:

• Advanced understanding of MotionBuilder and motion capture.
• Professional experience developing third person action games.
• Professional experience of film editing, lighting or VFX.
• Practical understanding of state machines and motion trees.
