Business Development Manager – REMOTE – AAA Co-Dev Studio

Our client is an independent, natively remote co-development studio with offices in the US and Czech Republic. Founded by industry veterans they provide world-class art and animation support to world renowned clients in the games industry.

As part of their 70 strong team you’ll help lay the foundations for the next steps in their exciting journey and have the opportunity build a Business Development department from the ground up!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in business development within the games industry
  • Excellent understanding of the video game industry and its competitive landscape, ideally in AAA, work for hire or art outsourcing
  • Able to manage and clearly communicate expectations of internal and external stakeholders, including C-Level
  • Analytical and structured, with a proactive work ethic
  • Skilled, empathic communicator who knows how to excite people
  • Strong sense of teamwork and cooperative spirit, giving and receiving help when necessary
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Being based in North America would be a distinct advantage, but not a requirement
  • Proven presentation skills, with the ability to generate high-impact presentations
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills along with strong verbal and written communication abilities in English, additional languages are a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, contact, build relationships with and sign potential clients
  • Track market trends and identify business opportunities and risks
  • Be the face of the studio at on and offline events through strong networking
  • Advise management and colleagues on client needs, strategy and external communications
  • Create an opportunity database, design business development processes and priorities
  • Act as the focal point to external partners and internal departments on BD projects and initiatives
