Located in the London borough of Bromley, our client is all about crafting the world's most engaging multiplayer experiences. They are growing the studio for exciting new unannounced projects on PC and console and are looking for a talented and passionate Build / Automation Engineer to help create them.

To ensure the safety of their staff moving forward, all their employees are now using a work from home model during the COVID-19 outbreak in the UK, and this will continue for the foreseeable future.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional experience maintaining, extending, and contributing to build pipelines and infrastructure on more than one shipped title.
  • Experience working with Perforce and TeamCity.
  • Experience with continuous delivery of updates and content for live games.
  • Experience with deployment and development on PC, and modern consoles.
  • Able communicate well with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Superb time management skills and organisational skills.
  • Experience with scripting language(s) such as C#, Python etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilising your knowledge and experience to plan, build and maintain the build pipeline and infrastructure that supports the game from both a development and live service perspective.
  • Working closely with colleagues from different departments to understand and fulfil requirements for the entire build and release pipeline, from the moment work leaves a developer machine to it reaching the player.
  • Responsibility for pinpointing potential opportunities to expand their build infrastructure, working with support departments to identify, procure and setup resources as required.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Professional experience developing with Unreal Engine 4.
  • Experience managing and integrating content delivery networks (CDN).
  • Experience integrating cloud-based infrastructure within build pipelines using AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Experience working with virtual machines and/or containers.
  • Experience integrating automated testing within build pipelines.
  • Experience developing multiplayer games.
