Project: Open World PC / Console Game

OPMs client is currently looking to fill their Brand Manager position, to play a pivotal role in the go-to-market strategy and brand value development of their upcoming title.

The successful candidate will take ownership and responsibility for the ideation, formation, and development for the brand of their debut game.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive experience in a Senior Brand Management, Creative Direction, or similar role in games.
• Likeable attitude with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills, suitable for C-suite equivalent level stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of the global gaming market across all platforms.
• Effective time management and multitasking skills.
• Solid creative expertise and an eye for a slick brand.
• Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media, content, and influencer marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determine the voice of the game, both visually and in written forms.
• Cooperate with the narrative and game design teams to make sure the brand’s values and vision align with that of the title.
• Collaborate with the marketing and live operation teams to maintain the strategic direction of the title prior to and after release.
• Perform market research to further develop the brand identity and value after launch.
• Coordinate with the marketing, game, and live operation teams to reinforce brand and player identity with ongoing event and update content.
• Develop and iterate on presentations and events for major development milestones.
• Be the point of contact to traffic brand information between the game departments.

DESIRED SKILLS (good to have):

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related fields.
