Our client is a fast-growing, experienced, and respected independent game developer. Based in Warwick, U.K. the company has developed over 120+ titles across handheld consoles and more recently mobile devices and built an impressively strong track record. Previously known for its work on high-profile licensed handheld products, it is now a major studio in the Mobile Gaming Industry.

 

Their aim is to produce and develop quality video games within a professional environment where all staff, at all levels; feel motivated and eager to carry out their tasks responsibly and effectively.  Their past success and continuing success is based on excellent products and excellent people.

 

Responsibilities:

The Associate Producer role covers many areas of Game Development.  You will be involved all the way from Concept of Ideas, pushing the game through Development and then post release into the Live Ops Arena.  Having had experience of working on at least 2 mobile games to submission, you will be well versed on team management, Scheduling, both Agile and Traditional, Bug fixing phase as well as Submission. They work on their own IP and 3rd Party IP, so previous client facing skills are advantageous. Experience with software such as Jira, Unity and Perforce, again would be beneficial.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Released at least 2 mobile game working as an Associate Producer.
  • Knowledge of the Game Development Process with Unity.
  • The ability to accurately schedule using traditional waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience using an agile project planning methodology.
  • Experience with Jira or similar for Bug reporting.
  • Experience of compiling project reports.
  • Mobile games experience.
  • Experience working closely with Programmers and Artists and Designers.
  • Management of small team’s experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • A good sense of humour.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • An ability to work well under pressure.
