Our client was founded by industry legends and after the successful release of their latest game have room to grow. As an independent development studio, you can be part of a team where developers are able have a significant impact and contribute on multiple levels to the games they make.

The successful candidate will help our client create unique visual worlds and experiences for their players of the AAA Strategy RPG Game

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A demonstrated track record of leading a AAA team in a production environment
• A portfolio reflecting high-quality game art
• Full understanding of contemporary game development workflows and pipelines
• Working understanding in 3DS Max/Maya/Blender/Zbrush
• Skilled in Photoshop
• A desire to learn new skills, techniques, and technologies
• Strong professional experience in the games industry producing game art
• Good experience as an art director or art lead

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Manage, develop, and mentor a multifaceted art team: concept, environment, characters, animation and user interface
• Establish, develop, and sustain the visual direction and quality for our games
• Work together with Design, Programming and Production
• Work with the art team to create efficient and performant pipelines and workflows
• Inspire and encourage the art team through clear and concise constructive critiques
• Create and maintain the brand and style guides
• Communicate with publishers and marketing teams as needed to ensure our products are represented in well visually
• Understand technical limitations while seeking out innovative solutions
• Cooperate with fellow artists, team leads, and our engineering and design departments to produce the highest quality game assets
