OPMs client is part of one of the fastest growing publishers in Europe, with a unique blend of inventive freedom and ethos found at an independent studio, with the financial safety of a large publisher.

They are seeking an AI Programmer to join a diverse team working on worldwide known IPs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified to Degree level in games development, computer science or comparable
• Good experience in a game studio, having released one commercial title
• Strong understanding and ability using C++
• Experience working with Unreal Engine 4
• Experience working with AI in UE4 such as behaviour trees and blueprints
• Experience with a recent AAA character-based game
• Strong English language
• Passionate about gaming and the games industry in general

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Work together with designers, artists, leads, and others to transform abstract ideas into working code.
• Play a key role in bringing characters to life with artificial intelligence, make combat possible by crafting weapons and special abilities, and implement all manner of gameplay logic, systems, and tools.

DESIRED SKILLS (good to have):

• Experience working with 3D graphics & rendering pipelines
• Experience working with 2D graphics & user interfaces
• Strong linear algebra skills
