My client is a UK Developer who have an impressive back catalogue of top quality video games stretching back to the 90’s! Due to their continued successes, they are expanding their animation team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Demo Reel that demonstrate excellent understanding of animation principals and character acting.
  • Professional experience using Maya or a similar 3D package.
  • Knowledge of game pipelines advantageous.
  • Motion capture experience useful but not essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bring characters to life in a way that charms and excites the player.
  • Create compelling and versatile animations that look great.
  • Demonstrate excellent understanding of animation principals and character acting.
  • Taking your animation all the way from creation to the game engine, using in-house tools.

DESIRED:

  • Experience working with an animation behaviour tree software (Havoc Behaviour, Unity Mechanim, Unreal State Machines etc.) is an advantage, but not essential.
