3D Animator – East Anglia (UK) – Permanent Contract – AAA Video Games

My client is a UK games developer with a rich portfolio of action adventure games. They keep high production values close to its heart and it shows in all their games. We are looking for a 3D Animator to bring its characters to life and maintain its exceptional reputation for excellent animation!

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3D Animation Demo Reel
• Good knowledge of relevant 3D art & animation packages – in particular Maya.
• Ability to adapt to various animation styles
• Experience as a 3D Animator in a professional environment, Games, TV Film etc.
• Passion for video games

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Create character animations to a high-quality finish and to an agreed schedule
• Take an active part in the artistic creation process and how your animations will shape the games vision
• Build, maintain and manage strong working relationships with other disciplines
• Take an active part in team discussions offering advice and suggestions for improving the animation quality
• Maintain a flexible working practice – showing the ability and willingness to adapt to various animation styles
• Remain informed of the schedule both for the animation team and the studio in general

DESIRABLE:

• Cinematic knowledge
• Technical knowledge, i.e. rigging
• Experience of UE4
• Experience of animation graphs
