One Player Missions client is looking for a Technical Animator to join their Animation Department. They have an enthusiastic team of developers working on the next generation of AAA games based on a much loved product enjoyed by millions of children and adult alike!

You’ll work closely with the character animation pipeline, creatively and technically alongside Animators, Riggers, Designers, Artists, Programmers and Production on a day-to-day basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A collaborative and enabling attitude.
  • Good communication skills and enjoy working in a team, also able to work with independence.
  • An eye for detail in animation implementation.
  • Good knowledge of Unreal Engine.
  • Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Maya or alternative 3D software.
  • Advanced knowledge of technical animation with specialist experience in an area (e.g. tool development, real time IK and retargeting, advanced layering in Animation Blueprints).
  • Knowledge of programming or visual scripting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain high quality, efficient character animation blueprints in Unreal Engine.

One Player Missions client is looking for a Game Design Craft Manager to join their Design team in Malmo, Sweden. They have a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will work closely with various teams, utilising their extensive experience in game design and management to mentor and develop a strong team of designers. This role is crucial for driving the success of the team’s project deliveries and translating company strategies into actionable goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive experience in leading high-performing teams and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent insight into the role of a support organisation in accelerating progress towards business goals.
  • Ability to provide consistent leadership in challenging situations.
  • Background in the video game industry or similar creative fields.
  • Skilled in building teams and leaders, particularly in distributed and global contexts.
  • Passion for implementing processes and structures while fostering creativity.
  • Soft skills: curiosity, excellent communication, collaboration, openness to change, humility.
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Experience in live service projects is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coach and mentor designers using hands-on experience from various complex projects.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to set short and long-term strategies aligned with the company’s vision.
  • Define roles and responsibilities within the game design craft.
  • Drive improvement and innovation within your craft and craft organisation together with other managers within the studio.
  • Lead craft staffing, recruitment, and plan for employee growth.
  • Foster knowledge sharing and educational opportunities within the craft.
  • Serve as a role model in aligning with the studio’s values and culture.
