They are looking for a talented Animation Tech Programmer to join their team developing a new unique unannounced multiplayer project.

The successful candidates will help lay the foundation and expand the motion matching capabilities, increase the efficiency in using animation utilising their award-winning in-house engine.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Solid experience with animation programming from AAA games or indie games that used novel animation techniques
  • Outstanding C++ programming skills
  • Strong mathematics, especially in linear algebra
  • Familiar with modern animation techniques (e.g. IK, parametric blending, time warping, events-based matching, time-based scaling, pivoting, motion matching)
  • Familiar with profiling and optimising code, data driven systems, data-oriented design, SIMD / vector instruction sets

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing the new system by developing runtime code, as well as preparing and transitioning gameplay features from the current system.

  • Stay up to date on trends and methodologies in current and future graphics software and hardware to develop early planning of tools and processes
  • Put in place graphic production pipelines
  • Work closely with the Art Leads to deliver the art vision within the project requirements
  • Drive optimization and debugging to fix issues raised.
Requirements:

  • Several years’ experience in a similar role within the games industry
  • Shipped at least 1 AAA title
  • Strong technical proficiency with Unreal Engine 45
  • Understanding and history of proficiency in using 3D graphics software such as MayaMax or similar, Houdini, Substance
  • Working knowledge of scripting/programming using languages such as C++, Python, etc.
  • Technical proficiency in areas of 2D and 3D art
  • Experience with VFX such as particle, soft and rigidbody simulations

One Player Mission’s client, is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Artist, who will be responsible for working alongside an enthusiastic team of developers helping to drive and deliver the next generation of games created at our clients studio.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within there highly talented and creative team on an exciting AAA mobile game.
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent technical skills to manage assets that fit memory, design, and frame rate limitations.
  • Expert knowledge in at least one of following areas: Modelling, Shaders / Materials, Animation and Vfx
  • Excellent at both technical and creative problem-solving.
  • Experience implementing efficient Rigs for Characters / Vehicles.
  • Character skinning and physics simulation setup.
  • Great working knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience at creating Custom Tools, Scripts and Shaders
  • Our client makes AAA quality games that have to be intuitive and slick. You would need to be hungry to make them even better!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting the Head of Game and Design Director with project direction, planning & scoping
  • Interpret designs and specs into tasks and content and deliver these against milestones and deliverables
  • Oversight and involvement with development. Championing pipeline and workflow efficiencies, risk management and escalation, scheduling, tracking and resourcing
  • Adapting to change, whilst maintain a credible project plan
  • Monitoring progress against the schedule & budget
  • Guide the development of robust and sustainable systems, features and gameplay for a prolonged release strategy, including live production
  • Ownership of the project Jira database, responsible for the tracking and maintenance of tasks/ tickets
  • Guide, develop and motivate direct reports and wider team, to champion delivering exceptional work in a positive, constructive and enjoyable environment
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and partners
  • Working with the Project QA Leads to ensure any testing requirements are covered
  • Champion improvements to the Studio’s production practices.
