One Player Missions client are looking for a talented Art Manager to lead their gaming art team. You’ll be joining the team on an ambitious and original open world survival game with a horror. Visual quality is paramount, so you’ll be building in Unreal Engine 5.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, lead, and mentor a team of artists, animators, and designers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the art team’s efforts with company goals.
  • Create and maintain project schedules and deadlines.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of all art assets.
  • Develop and maintain art production pipelines, including tools, best practices, and processes.
  • Review and provide feedback on all art produced by the team.

One Player Missions client are looking for a talented Senior Lighting Artist to join their busy studios and support driving CI Games Studios forward as they experience exponential growth. They’re putting a unique twist on the formula, both in mechanics and the environmental challenges they set for the player. Visual quality is paramount, so are building in Unreal Engine 5.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Create photo-realistic visuals through lighting complex scenes.
  • Works closely with others to keep workflows and quality consistent across all environments.
  • Assist with improving lighting content pipeline.
  • Assist with Pre-production scoping and scheduling.
  • Work with Leads and Designers in a collaborative environment to create beautiful and engaging gameplay spaces and scenes.

 Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a first-class experience, taking initiative, and maintaining passion for high quality work, is required for this rewarding yet often demanding role.
  • Creation and development of VFX effects, especially particle systems for their games.
  • Ensure that the VFX effects are performant and supporting the desired visual style of their titles.
  • Ensure that VFX supports and highlights gameplay in the best possible way.
  • Supporting the art team with feedback on visuals and performance, especially when it comes to achieving highly appealing effects.
  • Reporting directly to the Associate Lead VFX Artist.
  • Anticipating, identifying and articulating problem areas and developing preventative solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in VFX, especially with games VFX.

  • Able to find the balance between visual quality and real-time rendering performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Build visual stunning environments and AAA-quality art assets

As well as working with your team you will also work with the Lead Environment Artist to develop new processes and ultimately create foliage that follows the requirements set out by the art direction.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Create amazing trees, bushes and plants that make our games come to life, by developing new features, tools and shaders.

  • Working with scanned foliage, create realistic textures and models for all foliage needs.

One Player Mission’s client is a rapidly expanding studio, developing thrilling eSports console games using cutting-edge technology. They are seeking a Technical Director to lead and support their team through excellent leadership, problem solving, and risk management.
REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 6 years high level experience as a 3D Artist or at least 2 years’ experience as Lead Artist working on shipped AAA games projects.
  • A broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of all aspects of 3D games art production including art optimization and best practices.
  • An outstanding portfolio of artwork demonstrating specialist level of skill and creativity in multiple areas of art production.
  • A high level of knowledge and understanding of real time lighting.
  • Outstanding knowledge of current games engines eg, Unreal, Unity etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of art tools including Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop, Substance.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A great team spirit and are proactive.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing and developing the 3D art team within technical and time constraints while maintaining artistic requirements.
  • Working with the Art and Code team to organize, supervise and manage all aspects of 3D art and animation production.
  • Creating assets for use in production
  • Working with the Art Director to help oversee the review process for characters, environments, and animation.

One player missions client are looking for a full time Art Director that has a passion for making award winning innovative and delightful games. They are a small team with a great track record, made up of industry veterans, experienced devs and great new talent. You’ll be responsible for encouraging, leading and driving the artistic vision and development of their current and upcoming projects.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and associated design leads to create high quality and engaging visualisations.
• Establish unique and captivating art styles and lead the creation of style guides to direct asset creation.
• Inspire, manage and mentor the art team.
• Offer hands on guidance and support across a multitude of Visual Arts fields, ranging from UI, concept art, 2D art, 3D modelling, texturing, post processing, visual effects & cinematography.
• Work with outsourced partners to coordinate and manage the creation of game assets.

Requirements:

  •  Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior artist role.
  • A passion for games and game development.
  • Broad knowledge of all art disciplines including: concept, character, animation, environment, VFX, UI, lighting, shaders and rendering.
  •  Experience working with real-time engines. Knowledge and hands on experience with Unity 3D would be advantageous.
  • •Strong communication/listening, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Passion for making and playing great games, demonstrating an awareness of current titles, genres, and industry trends.
  • A desire to innovate and a strong motivation to go above and beyond in the creation of beautiful, delightful game visuals.
