OPMjobs are going to the zoo!
On Friday June 11th the OPMjobs team are finally meeting up together for the first time since March 2020! Although the last year has been pretty miserable for obvious reasons, the company has fortunately had an amazing year results-wise. As a thank you for the hard work the team has been doing, our Managing Director Kim has gifted everyone with Colchester Zoo Gold Passes for the whole year, as well as a day off so we can all get together and see some animals!
We’ll be checking our emails in the morning, before heading off to the zoo for 10am. All phones are being diverted to mobiles, so give us a call if you need something urgently.
About Colchester Zoo’s Conservation Fundraising
Colchester Zoo has always cared passionately about the world’s threatened species, and created it’s charity Action for the Wild to assist conservation projects worldwide. This includes their own project, the UmPhafa Private Nature Reserve in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.
Since receiving charity status in 2004 Action for the Wild has donated over £1.2million to conservation programmes, as well as supporting conservation research. As a privately owned zoo, funding the zoo’s further development as well as assisting these projects in the wild is only possible with the support of the community, through all your visits and the funds Colchester Zoo receive from retail and catering sales.
