OUR CHARITY WORK
WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO US.
Don’t let the logo fool you, we’re not monsters. We champion good causes in communities. From games industry specific initiatives to worldwide crisis’s that affect millions, we do what we can to help people and believe that even small companies can make a big difference.
We work closely with a select number of charities that are close to our hearts and minds. We want to highlight the great work they do. One Player Mission has a fantastic team that not only keeps the OPM wheels running every day but also goes above and beyond to raise money and donate their time and ideas.

WHO WE SUPPORT
CHARITIES THAT SHARE OUR VALUES, BELIEFS AND COMMITMENT TO IMPORTANT CAUSES.
We are proud to support carefully selected charities and causes that benefit both our local communities and the global community. In the twenty twenties, we’ve raised funds and donated to these three causes that are very important to us.
SAFE IN OUR WORLD – Back in 2017, co-founders Leo Zullo, Gareth Williams and Neil Broadhead started a conversation about fund-raising for mental health charities. Like every project in the gaming industry, this grew and expanded, and in 2019 the charity Safe in Our World was born. The mission is to foster positive mental health wellbeing and deliver support not only for players, but also developers. The goal is for the industry to come together and start a conversation that can change lives. Our Managing Director, Kim is a Vice Chair for SIOW, and is committed to making a difference.
COLCHESTER ANTI LOO ROLL BRIGADE – The charity was originally set up by Peter Dutch as a response to the panic buying during the early days of the Covid 19 pandemic; with the initial aim of setting up a support network for those who needed help to get through lockdown. As an incredibly popular charity locally, they then expanded to helping in many other areas of need, including a Ukraine Aid initiative. We donated £10,000 to the Colchester Loo Roll Brigade which helped pay for 896 medical supplies including antibiotics, painkillers, and dressings to be sent to the Ukraine frontline.
MS-UK – Also based in Colchester, MS-UK are a national charity dedicated to empowering people with multiple sclerosis (MS) to make the most of today, and live happier and healthier lives. MS-UK put people affected by MS at the heart of their work. They provide high quality, professional services to support people living with multiple sclerosis, and they listen to people affected by MS. The One Player Mission team have organised and ran various online fundraisers as part of the MS-UK 925 Challenges, to raise £2400 for people living with MS.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
SAFE IN OUR WORLD.
OPM’s Managing Director Kim Parker Adcock is a Vice Chair for SIOW and has always been passionate about mental health and wellness. The recruitment industry is one of the most straining, with 81.8% of UK recruiters stating that their job makes them feel stressed. With this in mind, Kim attended a MHFA course and is now a Mental Health First Aider for the team.
We’re proud to be supporting an initiative that creates and fosters worldwide mental health awareness within the video game industry, it is time to fight the stigma and represent those who have mental health issues.
